Description

How to deal with a unit that is not in the list of UNECE?

In the energy management group we would like to define interfaces for some common measurement classes. One needed unit would be "varh", but there is only "var". Is there some suggested way how to deal with this issue since it is a engineering unit?

If the update proposal is rejected or the management group is not responsive enough we recommend the use of a separate namespace for those units.

Agreed to no-change-required in Virtual F2F.

Additional feedback is that UNCEFAC has not been responsive to requests to add new units.
