Summary0004579: Feature Request: Setting Default value in Variable InstanceDeclaration
Description

Reading the Part 3, it seems that the only way to force a default value for a Variable (wich is component or a property of an Object) inherited by an ObjectType definition, is that the related InstanceDeclaration of the Variable has a VariableType with the Value Attribute containing the Dafault Value.

Why is it not possible setting a Default Value in the Value Attribute of a Variable InstanceDeclaration directly? In this way is much more fast and logic and i am not constrained to create a VariableType (i don't need) just to define a Default Value.

In Part 3 - 4.5.2 it says: "A TypeDefinitionNode references instances instead of other TypeDefinitionNodes to allow unique names for several instances of the same type, to define default values and to add References for those instances that are specific to this complex TypeDefinitionNode and not to the TypeDefinitionNode of the instance."
In Part 3 - 5.6.5 it says: "The VariableType NodeClass also defines a set of Attributes that describe the default or initial value of its instance Variables. The Value Attribute represents the default value."

So, is it possible define default values inside instance declaration or should i create a variableType just for that?

The description in 4.5.2 answers your question. It states that instances referenced in the TypeDefinitionNodes can be used to define default values.
